SC Capital Partners, a private equity real estate firm based out of Singapore, and Shanghai-based industrial and logistics developer THi Holding Management Corp. have jointly acquired an industrial land in China’s Suzhou Industrial Park. The site measures over 50,000 sq m (538,196 sq ft) and the two partners are intent on developing the project into a Grade-A industrial facility targeting high-end manufacturers.
This acquisition is the second transaction carried out by the partners in Suzhou Industrial Park and marks an important milestone in their collaboration, one that will help the fund’s pursue growth opportunities in the industrial and logistics sector at the Yangtze River Delta. The completed facility will provide over 103,000 sq m (1.1 million sq ft) in net lettable area, with the rooftops equipped with solar panels.
